F: OLD BUSINESS:

1. Budget - D.H. the 2025 Budget Notice was placed in the newspaper as required. We will now open the meeting for a budget hearing and ask for public comment. Motion to approve the 2025 budget as presented that contains a $4.00 per month wastewater service fee increase for 2025 only. 

G: NEW BUSINESS:

1. Insurance - Reed, Wertz and Roadman for P&C and Auto coverage. Motion to approve:

2. Resident with Bus Issues - We received an email requesting the Township to rebuild a walking bring on Leighty road.

3. CPA Associates - Motion to accept the audit proposal from CPA Associates in the amount of regular GAAS audit would be approximately $8,725 a single audit would be approximately $11,845.

4. SMRAVFC - Assistance from the township to cover match for FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant.

 

5. Office Staff - Hiring of Whitney Martin effective 12/1/2024. Motion to approve:

H: CORRESPONDANCE:

PBDA created the Broadband Ready Communities Program. The program was established to encourage the reduction in procedural, policy, and permitting barriers to broadband deployment, at the municipal level. Recognizing that resources can vary across every municipality, the PBDA took time to review the BBRC program as it was created and made significant improvements to the requirements for participation to achieve BBRC designation. Municipalities & counties that achieve the BBRC designation will receive special recognition from the PBDA as well as promotion through upcoming newsletters on the PBDA website. Registration is easy and only requires a resolution and a designated point of contact. Must register by 3/21/25.
